    Don't Just Move. Land.

The Tactical Operation to Get Your Family Situated in Hampton Roads.

    ShapeTHE PROBLEM

The "Fog of War" in Transition.

Moving to a new duty station or transitioning to civilian life is a multi-front battle. You aren't just looking for a job. You are fighting to secure childcare, decipher school districts, understand housing markets, and navigate complex benefits—all while trying to physically move your household. The Stakes: Without a plan, you risk "transition drift"—isolation, gaps in care, and missed opportunities. Navigating this ecosystem alone is overwhelming.

    ShapeTHE GUIDE

    We Are Your "Baseplate."

You don't have to figure this out alone. MISSION: START & STAY is the "Intel Map" you need to navigate Hampton Roads.

We have assembled a coalition of "Fixers" and "Strategists" from JBLE Command, DOL VETS, Childcare Aware, and School Liaison Officers to cut through the red tape. We even handle the logistics—our Stroller Valet service ensures you can focus on the mission while your little ones are safe.

    THE PLAN (YOUR AGENDA)

We have organized the chaos into a clear, tactical operation.

PHASE 1: GEAR UP (09:30) Check-In & Passport Issue Arrive at the Riverview Center. Drop the stroller with our Valet team. Receive your "Intel Map" (Summit Passport). This is your guide to the day.

PHASE 2: THE INTELLIGENCE ROUNDS (10:00) Solve the "Life" Problems First Choose your track based on your immediate needs:

🟢 TRACK A: LANDING THE FAMILY (The Game Room)

    • The School Strategist: Meet 1-on-1 with District Registrars (Hampton, Newport News, York, etc.) and JBLE School Liaisons.

    • The Childcare "Fixer": Solve subsidy puzzles with Childcare Aware and The Planning Council.

    • The Housing "Fixer": Consult with Virginia Housing and Relo experts.

    • The Teen Economy: Connect your teens to jobs with Busch Gardens and Youth THRIVE.

🔵 TRACK B: SHIFTING THE COLORS (Williamsburg Room)

    • The Civic Mapper: Connect with volunteer tribes like Team RWB to find your local community.

PHASE 3: THE READINESS ZONES (10:30 – 12:30) Prepare for the Career Fight Once the family is settled, focus on your professional profile:

    • 🛠️ Zone 2: The Tactical Prep Pit:

    • Resume Triage: DOL VETS and Hire Heroes USA scrub your resume.

    • Spouse Strategy: USO Pathfinder helps with license portability.

    • Mock Interviews: Pitch coaching with William & Mary and RecruitMilitary.

    • 🚀 Zone 3: Pathway Partners: Connect directly with SkillBridge anchors and authorized training providers.

    • 🍸 Zone 4: The Benefit Bar: 1-on-1 analysis of TRICARE (Humana) and SBP/Insurance (Navy Mutual/AAFMAA).

PHASE 4: THE "TURF WARS" LUNCH (12:00) Geographic Networking Grab a boxed lunch and pick a table based on where you live (Hampton, Newport News, York, etc.). The Panel: A "Real Talk" session moderated by the HRVEC Director featuring experts on schools, healthcare, and transition success stories.

    ShapeSUCCESS (THE OUTCOME)

13:30 | MISSION COMPLETE The Result: You leave with a finalized resume, a school plan, a professional headshot, and a local support network. The Reward: Completed passports earn a VETTED T-Shirt. The Next Step: You are now fully briefed and "Cleared" for Day Two: The Hiring Event.
