The Chesapeake Worlds of Work (WOW) EXPO will feature hands-on opportunities for students to experience a "moment in the life" of an industry professional within the regional most in-demand industries.

This free event is hosted by the Hampton Roads Workforce Council and the City of Chesapeake in partnership with Chesapeake Public Library, Chesapeake Public Schools, Chesapeake Economic Development, Hampton Roads Chamber, Tidewater Community College, and Old Dominion University.

-Virtual welding
-IV simulators
-Simulated pipefitting with cardboard tubes and glue
-Blood pressure cuffs with hands-on practice
-Blueprint reading
