Our expertise spans contingent labor staffing, direct hire placements, payroll services, and more, primarily serving the aerospace and defense, automotive, construction, manufacturing, and shipbuilding sectors.\\Duties subject but not limited to:\\Job Summary\\We are seeking a qualified Quality Assurance / NDT Level II Inspector to support shipyard operations by ensuring compliance with quality standards, inspection procedures, and applicable industry regulations. The ideal candidate will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality inspections on shipboard systems, structural components, and weldments to verify workmanship and compliance with project specifications.\This role requires strong knowledge of shipyard environments, welding inspections, and NDT testing methods while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.\Key Responsibilities\Perform NDT inspections using methods such as Visual Testing (VT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) in accordance with approved procedures and standards.\Conduct inspections of welds, structural components, piping systems, and mechanical installations.\Review and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures (WPS), and inspection test plans (ITPs).\Document inspection results and prepare detailed inspection reports.\Identify and report non-conformances, defects, or quality concerns.\Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and project management to ensure quality standards are met.\Verify compliance with shipyard quality programs, safety standards, and customer requirements.\Assist with pre-inspection planning and post-repair verification.\Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper calibration.\Required Qualifications\NDT Level II Certification in the following:\VT – Visual Testing\PT – Liquid Penetrant Testing\Minimum 3–5 years of NDT or QA inspection experience in a shipyard environment.\Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings\Strong knowledge of welding inspections and shipyard quality requirements\Ability to work in confined spaces, heights, and shipboard environments\OSHA 10 Maritime safety training & shipyard safety training\Familiarity with NAVSEA standards\Must be able to obtain DBIDS & NAVSEA\Additional NDT certifications such as are a plus:\UT – Ultrasonic Testing\MT – Magnetic Particle Testing\RT – Radiographic Testing\Physical Requirements\Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and access shipboard compartments\Ability to lift up to 50 lbs\Ability to work in industrial shipyard environments\Employee's will be required to complete medicals such as respirator fit and drug screening.\Benefits:\\Dental insurance\Health insurance\Referral program\Vision insurance\\Application Question(s):\\Are you DBIDS/NAVSEA eligible?\\Experience:\\Shipyard: 3 years (Required)\NDT Level II: 3 years (Required)\\Benefits:\\Dental insurance\Health insurance\Vision insurance\Work Location: In person
