| Job Description | GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES\We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maritime Data Coordinator to support our\Hampton Roads Maritime Training System team with data administration, reporting, and quality \control. This role functions with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, validation, and metrics reporting.\The ideal candidate is analytical, methodical, and comfortable working extensively in Excel. This person \will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity and producing reliable reports that support grant \reporting and organizational decision-making. |

| Key Responsibilities | ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS \• Perform high-volume data entry with exceptional accuracy\• Conduct data validation and audits to ensure data integrity and consistency\• Maintain and update centralized data files in Excel or other databases\• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports and performance metrics\• Create clear, easy-to-understand data visualizations (charts, dashboards, summaries)\• Identify discrepancies and resolve data issues proactively\• Organize and maintain documentation related to data processes\• Support process improvement efforts related to data tracking and reporting |
