    Job DescriptionThe Fence Erector plays a critical role in delivering high-quality fence installations that reflect Hurricane Fence Company’s craftsmanship, values, and commitment to excellence. This position exists to execute precise, technically sound installations across a wide range of materials and jobsite conditions. Fence Erectors ensure that every project is built to specification, structurally sound, aesthetically aligned with customer expectations, and completed safely and efficiently. As a skilled tradesperson, the Fence Erector not only performs hands-on installation work but also contributes to the development of Laborers, reinforces company standards, and supports the overall success and reputation of our field operations.
    Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret site layouts, blueprints, and measurements.\\- Install posts, panels, gates, and hardware across a variety of materials.\\- Ensure all fences are level, plumb, and structurally sound.\\- Train and guide laborers in installation techniques and safety practices.\\- Communicate field needs to the Superintendent or Field Operations Leader.\\What We’re Looking For\\- 1–3 years of experience in fencing, construction, or related trades.\\- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in workmanship.\\- Ability to work safely and efficiently under minimal supervision.\\- Required Certification: OSHA-10 Construction Safety.\\- Preferred Certification: First Aid/CPR; equipment certifications relevant to fence installation (e.g.,skid steer, mini excavator, auger, forklift).\\- Valid driver’s license required\\- Authorized to work in the U.S\\- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check\\- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing\\How You Lead\\- Demonstrate pride in your work and encourage others to do the same.\\- Lead by example through safe practices and professionalism.\\- Adapt to challenges in the field with humility and teamwork.\\- Uphold Hurricane Fence’s standards for quality and integrity
