    Job DescriptionAt Think Acquisition, we are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our team. This role will support a vital project in Southeast Virginia, where you'll be responsible for the preventive maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and tunnel/bridge systems. If you have a strong background in electrical work and a commitment to safety and quality, we want to hear from you!
    Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical/mechanical and digital systems, ensuring equipment functions safely and efficiently.\\Electrical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including systems up to 480 VAC 3-phase, using a variety of test instruments.\\Compliance & Safety: Maintain all electrical wiring systems and components in strict accordance with National Electrical Code and industry safety standards.\\Blueprints & Schematics: Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to guide installation and repairs.\\System Evaluations: Inspect electrical systems, identify malfunctions, recommend necessary repairs, and take corrective action to ensure system reliability.\\Tool and Equipment Management: Operate tools and equipment skillfully and safely, ensuring proper maintenance and service.\\Work Planning: Plan and layout electrical installations, including estimating the time, cost, and materials required for the project.\\Traffic Control Systems: Utilize your knowledge of traffic monitoring and control systems as needed.\\Emergency Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations, ensuring the safe and effective operation of electrical systems.

    Skills and ExperienceTechnical Skills: Thorough understanding of electrical theory, methods, and materials. Proven ability to read blueprints and schematics.\\Physical Fitness: Ability to operate and perform work in a bucket truck and handle physical tasks associated with electrical repairs and installations.\\Safety-Oriented: Knowledge of safety standards and regulations, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe work environment.\\Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to coordinate with team members and provide status updates.\\Knowledge of Traffic Systems: Experience in or knowledge of traffic monitoring and control systems is a plus.
