    Job DescriptionHIRING FULL-TIME and PART-TIME\\•Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–9:00 PM (some Saturdays may be required)\Full-Time only position is for Floor Care Operations, including buffing, sanding, and waxing.\\•Part-Time: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM\\Hiring Range: $34,000.00 - $56,100.00. Based on Experience\\What would a typical day on the job be like? What work would I do? Are you looking for an opportunity to serve your local community? The Environmental Services Technician in the General Services Department is responsible for performing custodial and manual work in the care and cleaning of City facilities. Day to day, you would be performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure City facilities are maintained and kept tidy. This will include dusting or polishing chairs, desks, tables, shelves and other furniture. You could also be vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, waxing or buffering floors. Our Environmental Services team is responsible for collecting and disposing of trash daily, and tidying furniture as needed. Time management and the ability to develop relationships will be great skills to have in this position, as you will encounter other employees and need to manage your time while cleaning throughout the City buildings. Safety is our top priority for all employees, so you will need to have a basic knowledge of cleaning methods associated with hazardous chemicals and common cleaning equipment. \\How much money can I make? This role has a full salary range of $34,000.00 - $56,100.00. The targeted hiring range for this opening, based on qualifications, experience, and market considerations, is included in the job listing.
