    Job DescriptionInspect shipboard electrical and electronic systems for compliance with NAVSEA, OSHA and company standards\\· Identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-conformances, document findings accurately\\· Conduct in-process and final QA inspections with Government and customer representatives\\· Support safety monitoring, compliance and hazard identification\\· Review and interpret drawings, schematics, and work specifications\\· Assist with maintaining inspection reports and documentation\\· Communicate with supervisors and project managers\\· Perform all work in accordance with the established policies and procedures detailed in the Waveforce Electrical Quality Management System and Safety Manual\\· Capability to work in the following conditions and to perform the following tasks:\\o Working in outside weather conditions (hot and cold weather)\\o Working on ships, barges or submarines\\o Working at heights while using personal fall arrest (PFA) systems\\o Working in tight and confined shipboard spaces, as required\\o Capable of lifting and/or moving loads up to 30 llbs,\\o Performing other physical activities as required, such as:\\§ Bending\\§ Squatting\\o Climbing (included but not limited to vertical and incline ladders, masts, king posts, dry docks and staging.)\\o Crawling (including but not limited to through scuttles, manhole covers, tanks and voids.)\\· Willing to perform all duties as assigned\\· Reliability to show up to work on time and as scheduled
    Key Responsibilities· Five years of shipboard electrical installation and/or shipboard electrical QA experience\\· NAVSEA Standard Item 009-73 connector certification and experience preferred\\· NAVSEA Standard Item 009-123 certification and experience preferred\\· High School Diploma or Equivalent\\· Must be at least 18 years old

    Skills and ExperienceMust be able to pass Waveforce Electrical pre-employment drug screening\\· Must be able to pass Waveforce Electrical pre-employment background screening\\· Must be able to obtain government facility and/or shipyard access to include a DBIDS credential, as required by work locations\\· Must complete OSHA 10 Hour Training, Virginia Ship Repair Association (VSRA) Safety Orientation and all required Environmental, Health and Safety orientation training after initial employment, but prior to shipboard work.
