SNS is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Horizontal Directional Drill Operator or Locator. MUST HAVE CLASS A CDL. SNS's Horizontal Directional Drill position falls into our underground utilities division. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter and motivated individual seeking a long-term position with opportunity for advancement. Preferred candidates MUST HAVE A CDL. |

| Key Responsibilities | -Operate Horizontal Directional Drill;\-Ensure the safety of the public and other utilities' underground facilities;\-Ability to read and comprehend utility locates;\-Set equipment up including the drill, water tanks, and grounding the machine;\-Ability to properly formulate and mix drilling mud for the site conditions;\-Ability to perform proper reaming and pull-back methods for existing conditions;\-Oversee laborers and/or crew members' work and monitor time usage;\-Ability to properly clean and maintain the equipment, check fluid levels, and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle/equipment to assure your vehicle/equipment is performing at optimum safety, perform the required pre-trip, post-trip inspections and the required reports, perform needed maintenance, including winterizing equipment;\-Communicates with Supervisor daily to turn in required reports (i.e. Bore log, vehicle maintenance reports, crew time logs, etc.);\-Follows specifications for the job and company policies;\-Complies with safety procedures on and off the project site;\-Strive for optimal production while working safely and performing quality work. |
